CSA is seeking feedback on its new standard Building Information Modelling–Level of information need–Part 1: Concepts and principles.
This new CSA standard specifies concepts and principles to establish a methodology for specifying level of information need and information deliveries in a consistent way when using building information modelling (BIM). It also specifies the characteristics of different levels used for defining the detail and extent of information required to be exchanged and delivered throughout the life cycle of built assets. Further, it provides guidelines for principles required to specify information needs.
Read the draft standard and participate in the public consultation through the CSA Draft Review site. The review period ends on April 8, 2025.
